| Being small and growing quickly implies
a large potential for personal growth within the firm. Career reviews
are held twice a year. They form the basis for promotion, salary
increase and bonus level. They are conducted by the seniors of the
firm, and are detailed so that you will know what expectations the
firm has, how well you met them in the previous six months, and
what your challenges are in the months to come.
There is no minimum time in tenure. Professionalism, the capability to get
the things done which the client requires and to communicate them
the right (executive) way, the capability of coaching and making
people grow are the sole criteria for promotion. You will get as much
responsibility as the firm believes you can carry. There are four
levels of seniority in the firm, from junior consultant to manager
and partner. Your career path from one level to the next, and the
degree of responsibility you will be given at each of these levels
will be dictated by your performance, and the perception by the
firm of how much more you can carry.
Our interest as a firm and yours as a professional are congruent:
the broader your skill base, the larger your experience, the better
off we both are.
Estin & Co will do its best to make sure that your weaknesses get
addressed, that you are given the opportunity to develop your capabilities
in as many areas (finance, modeling, strategic segmentation, valuation,
etc.) as our profession covers.
To make sure that this mechanism works, we conduct at least four
times a year case reviews with every consultant in the firm, as
to communicate to her/him where we see weaknesses or strengths,
and to establish what development priority the firm sets for her/him.
