The international diversity of the firm is a strength for anyone looking for a culturally enriching experience. Estin & Co consultants come from various different academic backgrounds and bring together contrasting skills and career paths. Working with my colleagues is a mind-broadening experience. The team-based approach to project management also allows us to learn effectively from each other on both a theoretical and practical level.
The small structure of the firm makes it possible to get interesting assignments quickly, as well as creating a strong team spirit. Our involvement is reinforced by our active participation in the firm’s operational structures (recruiting, organization of training sessions, IT management, etc).
As an introduction to the world of work, I was looking for a job which would be intellectually both challenging and formative, covering many functions and businesses. Much as I appreciated my previous experience in finance, I wanted something broader. Strategy consulting immediately struck me as the right choice, requiring very varied skills (analysis, finance, strategic reasoning, relationship management, etc) and offering great scope for personal development. It is an excellent way of gaining insight into a number of industries within a short timeframe.
I knew that a medium-sized, flexible structure such as Estin & Co would quickly offer me responsibility within the team and a strong client-facing role.

Every day in strategy consulting brings a new lesson, be it a new way of thinking, a new business, or a new approach to an old question.
This constant training cannot help but be highly stimulating. Our work is a continuous endeavor to structure, articulate and solve strategic problems. To this end, there is no pre-established schema or basic formula: in a complex and changing world, every approach has to be re-thought from scratch.
Every case requires different methods: one day I might be conducting a market survey by doing interviews with experts in the sector and by analyzing available data; the next I might be turning my results into a business plan or company valuation. Whatever the method, however, the underlying effort remains the same: to express and structure my reasoning and results so that my client can understand and act on them as effectively as possible.
