As a manager, life at the firm has many dimensions. You have to manage a team of consultants and help them complete the assignments you define, identify the key issues of the clients and define your recommendations, discuss those recommendations with the vice-president (and get ready to be heavily challenged…), and finally, convince your client ! But this is actually very inspiring, as you can progress in all those different directions. Apart from the work on the project, writing articles on economic issues is the perfect opportunity to deepen my business knowledge. It's a brand new challenge.

In a way, there is no such thing as a daily job, as we get to work on very varied issues. Listening carefully to the clients' needs is the starting point of a case. Then, we discuss the key problems with the partner. Based on our experience, we put forward a vision of the clients' industry and its dynamics. The teamwork is structured to demonstrate or rebut our hypothesis, thus saving much time, as we know what we are looking for. Our team case meetings are based on the results of quantitative findings and the inputs of interviews with our clients' competitors or suppliers. I work closely with the consultants to help them solve the problems they face. After all, I have experienced myself all the difficulties they struggle with.
As a manager, the core of my job is to deliver a convincing message to our clients. Thus, we spend time with them sharing our findings. The most rewarding moment is when we summarize all those weeks of hard work in a short conclusion with strong recommendations to the clients. Then, it is time to start a new project.
