Why I joined

After a first experience in production optimization in the food industry, I decided to join Estin & Co for three main reasons :

  • To work in an environment with high expectations in terms of intellectual performance, where I could challenge and be challenged
  • To gain practical knowledge of how business works, and especially the link between the theory of finance and economics and key business decisions
  • To evolve in a “boutique” whose moderate size enhances personal initiative, responsibility even at a junior level and intellectual honesty .

Life at the firm

Cases in Estin & Co are never the same in terms of sectors, type of mission, type of clients or team. I enjoy having to adapt to these changes because there is no time to be bored by one subject.

Outside the cases, I am in charge of intellectual property linked to financial concepts and our valuation model. This implies training management and daily support, but also brainstorming on concepts and complex modeling. I like to challenge these financial concepts and make them become intuitive for other consultants. Rigorous concepts used in an intuitive and practical way is one of the well-known expertises of Estin & Co.

The daily job

As a senior consultant, I am in charge of building the underlying message we will deliver to the client and also of finding the practical way to get to it with analysis, interviews, modelling, …

I feel like I am the keystone of the case: working alongside the manager for the reasoning and the structure, working alongside the junior to help them in research and analysis, and autonomous on some modules of the case.
